i email them not wanting cancel my member ship i sigh 2 year member ship in march and just had baby and im main care giver so makes it hard too come too gym i havent been too gym over week now not going be able too workout for few months would be able put hold on my account and what age is your day care from let me know my options. get email back from platinum athletic gym:In regards to time credits, they are only issued with proof of medical or travel documentation. Unfortunately I would not be able to put your account on hold for the reason previously stated in your email. As for the minimum age of daycare it is six weeks old, feel free to drop by and speak with the child minding staff. The child minding hours are as follows

A friend of mine just left his phone as collatoral at the counter to borrow equipment while he worked out. Upon returning he equipment to the counter he was told by the girl at the counter that the phone was stolen and its not the responsibility of the gym to look after it!? BEWARE!!! STAFF STEAL HERE!!! First off, any...thing taken by the gym in order to loan out equipment becomes their responsibility in my opinion, i'm sure they woldnt want us borrowing their stuff and then coming back and saying we lost it but demanding our collatoral back. Well that door swings two ways. The management there refuses to assist and simply says it was his fault for leaving an expensive item and next time should only leave a $5 item. Wow, great customer service Platinum, i'll be recommending your shitty gym to all my friends...NOT! IF YOU ARE THINKING OF JOINING THIS GYM DO BE AWARE THAT YOUR THINGS COULD GET STOLEN AND THEY WILL NOT EVEN ATTEMPT TO HELP YOU OUT IN ANYWAY. TRY ANOTHER GYM, STEVE NASH IS MUCH MORE PROFESSIONAL!

Gym is huge, clean and you do not have to wait around to use any of the machines,they should a complimentary training sessions with memberships, most members do what they see and are doing it wrong so they do not get the results they are seeking or injure themselves,The trainers are NOT friendly,never smiles or say hello. The showers are below par. The front end staff are friendly.overall not a bad gym...

Great Gym! If you are looking for a fitness club were you can achieve some good results, this is the place. I have been a member for around 4 years now and have lost 40+ pounds. Unlike most clubs I've trained at, Platinum is not a social house! While the members and staff are very friendly, most the members are there to exercise! What is there to say; the place is clean, has tons of great equipment and the staff and management are always smiling and willing to help if it's needed. Oh ya, I love the Giant TV Screen that is on the main wall and love coming to the gym when the Pay-per-view Canucks games are on. That reminds me, they are always upgrading the equipment and also just added TV screen to all of their Cardio Equipment. This really helped fire up my Cardio again as I was starting to slack off a bit. The music is a pretty good mix, but I guess it would be hard to work out to my favorite tunes (jazz, blues). I would like to see a few male oriented classes added to the group fitness schedule as they are usually full of women which makes me a little hesitant to join in.

I have been a member at Platinum Athletic club for 10 years and absolutely LOVE it!
The staff is very attentive and friendly, they always go out of their way to say hello and goodbye. They are very approachable on the floor if I have a question or need any assistance with a certain machine etc.
The gym is constantly being upgraded with new equipment and cardio pieces. The cardio section is huge and you never have to wait or sign up for a machine! The best part is that most pieces have an individual tv, so I can watch whatever I want and the time flies by!
The gym is very clean and well maintained. The change rooms are very large with many lockers.
The fellow members are very friendly and courteous.
The management is wonderful, they attend to any needs the gym has in a very timely manner.
If a machine breaks down it is never out of service for more than a few days which is great!
I have recommended this club to many friends and family members, and would continue to recommend it, as it just keeps getting better!!!
Thanks Platinum for making my work outs so enjoyable!
